The Rescue Diver course is a pivotal step in expanding your knowledge and experience. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves to consider the safety and well-being of other divers. Rescue Diver training expands the basic problem prevention and accident management skills students learn beginning with their Open Water training.
Rescue Divers are able to manage more complex dive emergencies and apply direct intervention techniques to assist others in an emergency. Although the nature of the Rescue Diver training is serious, this course is an enjoyable challenge that will build your experience, confidence and safety as a diver.
This course will consist of classroom discussions, confined water skills development, and open-water rescue scenarios designed to develop your abilities to anticipate and prevent problems as well as prevent them, teach you effective rescue techniques and first aid skills specific to diving.

Rescue Diver Course Prerequisites
- Age 12 or above
- Cardiopulmonary Rescuscitation (CPR) Certification
- First Aid (Secondary Care) Certification
- Advanced Open Water Certification (or higher)
